About Me
A Lecturer in Auburn University's English Department, I hold a Ph.D. in English from the University of Southern Mississippi. I am an interdisciplinary scholar teaching courses in all three English tracks: Creative Writing, Literature, and Composition. I am also active in faculty development. My extensive training as a creative writer and workshop leader has given me the ability to offer formative feedback on work held unusually dear by its author. This skill is one that transfers in powerful ways to consulting with faculty to improve their teaching. It has also given me the ability to collaborate in meaningful ways with faculty from diverse disciplines.
